Training & Testing

Do you need training in Epic Aircraft? I am one of the most experienced Epic instructors and test pilots of these airplanes. After leaving Epic Aircraft as a full-time employee, I remain active with the company providing contract flight test services and instruction.

I have a good amount of time flight testing in icing conditions with the E1000, as well as operational time, so I can help with good strategies for flying in icing, as well as having detailed information concerning airplane behavior and capabilities. I have done testing for the initial certification, FIKI, Radar pod & Starlink, and some Autothrottle testing.

I continue to work as an instructor in LTs and E1000s regularly. I was the first non-employee Epic check airman (EFTCI).

I can also provide formation training and photo shoot services. I have been the pilot for a majority of Epic’s photo shoots. See the ‘About Me’ page for more on my experience.
